Bà Pagoda is a majestic complex of temples, sanctuaries, and prayer halls located on the slopes of Ba Den Mountain (986 m), the highest point in Southern Vietnam. This place harmoniously combines a 300-year spiritual history with modern architectural solutions. Visitors come here to worship the Holy Mother Linh Sơn, see the giant statue of the Bodhisattva of Compassion at the summit, and enjoy panoramic bird's-eye views.

What you need to know
The Bà Pagoda complex has a history spanning over 300 years. The center of spiritual life is the upper pagoda, located at an altitude of 350 meters. In 1989, Ba Den Mountain was designated a national historical monument.
Main points of interest:
- Mountain summit: home to the monumental Tây Bổ Đà Sơn statue of the Bodhisattva of Compassion. Beneath it is a Buddhist exhibition center featuring 163 Buddha statues, holographic temple projections, and relics of Shakyamuni Buddha.
- Architecture: the complex includes statues of the Laughing Buddha and the Reclining Buddha surrounded by picturesque gardens.
- Spiritual life: houses relics presented by the World Fellowship of Buddhists.
The most impressive event is the Holy Mother Linh Sơn Festival, held in the first lunar month, when thousands of pilgrims ascend to the shrines for blessings.
The dry season is ideal for climbing the mountain. During the rainy season (May–October), hiking trails may be closed due to the risk of landslides, and high humidity makes walking difficult.
