Status Overview
Quảng Nam is a region that long functioned as an independent province. In June 2025, following an administrative reform, Quảng Nam was merged with the city of Da Nang. The region's territory is 40% jungle and features 120 km of scenic coastline. In 2024, the region demonstrated impressive figures, welcoming 8 million tourists, 68% of whom were international visitors.

Administrative Status
Since June 2025, the region is no longer a separate province and has been merged with the city of Da Nang. Before the reform, the administrative center was Tam Kỳ city.
