Lake T'Nung is one of the main jewels of the Pleiku region. Situated at an altitude of 800 meters in extinct volcanic craters, it impresses with its scale and clear water. A sacred place for the local Jrai and Bahnar peoples, it offers a unique atmosphere of tranquility, opportunities for morning walks, and contemplation of the pristine nature of the Central Highlands.

What you need to know
Lake T'Nung (or Biển Hồ — "sea-lake") covers an area of about 230 to 400 hectares. Its uniqueness lies in the fact that it is not fed by permanent streams, yet its water never dries up. The lake's history is closely tied to ancient geological processes, and in 1988 it was designated as a national natural monument.
Tourists can enjoy an 8 km paved road around the lake, ideal for walking or cycling. In 2019, a 15-meter statue of the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara was erected near the lake, becoming an important point of attraction.
The dry season with clear skies and cool morning hours is the ideal time to visit. It is recommended to arrive early in the morning before sunrise to catch the mist over the water.
