Buu Long Park is a unique 84-hectare landscape complex created on the site of former quarries. The combination of whimsical granite cliffs, turquoise lakes, and centuries-old pagodas makes it an ideal place for both outdoor recreation and spiritual reflection, just 30 km from Ho Chi Minh City.

What you need to know
Founded in the 1970s, the park is famous for its main body of water, Long An Lake, surrounded by ancient cliffs reminiscent of a miniature Ha Long Bay. In the center of the lake, a 35-meter peak rises on an island and is accessible for climbing.
Key locations:
- Long Son Thach Dong Pagoda: an architectural blend of Vietnamese and Khmer styles, accessible after climbing 99 steps.
- Buu Phong Pagoda: an ancient 17th-century temple housing relics of the Nguyen dynasty.
- Quan Am Statue: a 19-meter gilded statue of the Goddess of Mercy, carved from local slate.
The dry season features clear skies when sunlight beautifully reflects off the granite cliffs and the water in the lakes is at its clearest.
