What you need to know
Bac Son Flower Valley (thung lũng hoa Bắc Sơn) is a landmark destination for the Lang Son region. Originally starting as a 7-hectare project, it was expanded to its current scale due to high popularity among tourists.
Key features:
- Seasonality: From June to October, the fields are covered in purple sulfur cosmos. During the autumn-winter period (September–February), attention shifts to tobacco and cabbage plantations, creating a geometric mosaic of terraces.
- Infrastructure: For visitor convenience, walking bridges and gazebos have been installed, and play areas are provided for young guests.
- Tips: Since there are no restaurants on-site, it is recommended to bring snacks or arrange meals at local homestays in Lân Khoán village.
The most favorable period is summer — the time of blooming sulfur cosmos with minimal precipitation. For a winter visit, bringing warm clothing is recommended.
