What you need to know
The farm covers an area of 74 hectares and has about 3,000 oyster cages. The main feature of local pearls is their marine origin, which makes them much more durable and beautiful than freshwater counterparts: such pearls retain their luster for hundreds of years.
The exhibition features rare species such as Akoya pearls and South Sea pearls, including spectacular black pearls. Visitors have access to a working demonstration process, as well as a shop where they can purchase jewelry (the cost of a single pearl ranges from 100 to 200 USD). In addition to the tour, those interested can rent a kayak and independently explore the natural beauty of the settlement.
The best time to visit in terms of climate and the opportunity to take great photos is the early morning hours.
