History
Victory Park (Công viên Chiến Thắng) is a significant memorial complex covering an area of about 144,000 m², located in the heart of Vị Thanh city. It is a magnet not only for those wishing to honor historical events, but also for visitors wanting to experience the culture of the Mekong Delta and the region's architectural heritage.

What you need to know
The complex was erected in honor of the victory in the 1973 battles (Tầm Vu / Chương Thiện), which became a turning point in the country's history. In 2013, the park received the status of a special-level national monument.
The main architectural feature is a three-tier monument, with its highest block reaching 21 meters. The composition is complemented by a stylized palm leaf symbolizing the Hậu Giang region. The park grounds also feature a stage for large-scale events, museum pavilions with 117 artifacts (including machinery and weaponry), and a picturesque lotus lake.
The winter season is the most favorable due to mild and comfortable weather. During hot summer months, visiting in the morning (before 09:00) or evening (after 16:00) hours is recommended.
