What you need to know
Spanning about 9–13 km, the beach is situated between Truong Le Mountain and Quang Cu Commune. The coastline is semi-circular in shape, while the light-colored sand and shallow seabed make entering the water safe.
The tourist area is divided into four zones:
- Zone A: the busiest and center of activity.
- Zones B and C: quieter, with many seafood restaurants.
- Zone D: the wild and quiet part.
The town features the Sun World Sam Son amusement park, night markets, and outdoor recreation areas. Please note that the infrastructure is geared toward locals, so knowing basic Vietnamese will be an advantage.
The best period for swimming, when the water is warm and the weather is favorable for a beach holiday. Avoid public holidays (April 30 – May 1) due to huge crowds of tourists.
