Pongour Waterfall is a unique natural site, 40 meters high and up to 100 meters wide. Unlike standard waterfalls, here the water smoothly descends over seven natural stone terraces, creating the effect of a natural staircase. This place attracts travelers with its power during the rainy season and its picturesque multi-tiered structure in the dry season.

What you need to know
The name "Pongour" comes from the K'Ho ethnic language and means "rhino's horn." Legend has it that the rocks beneath the waterfall resemble the horns of four rhinoceroses.
Characteristics and Seasonality: The waterfall's power heavily depends on the season. In the rainy period (July–November), it turns into a massive wall of spray. In the dry season (December–April), the water flow weakens and spreads across the terraces, allowing a better view of the stone ledges.
Good to Know:
- Swimming in the lake at the bottom is strictly prohibited.
- Exercise caution: stones are often slippery, so wear footwear with good traction.
- A significant issue at the location is litter.
Best time to visit: the waterfall has the most water flow, and the sky remains relatively clear.
