What you need to know
Established in 2002, the park plays a key role in the transboundary ecosystem. It is home to rare species such as Asian elephants, gaurs, bantengs, and pygmy lorises. The avifauna is of particular value, as the park serves as an important stopover point for migratory cranes.
Visitors can enjoy hiking trails, visit a panoramic observation deck with a 30-meter tower, or take a boat trip along the Vàm Cỏ Đông River. In addition, historical wartime sites—a former radio station and printing press turned into a museum—have been preserved within the park.
The dry season provides the most comfortable conditions for hiking and visiting the park's historical sites.
