About the Place

What you need to know

The park was established in 1985 on the site of an old French military cemetery dating back to 1859. After the cemetery was dismantled in 1983, the area was completely transformed into a public space.

Today, the park is famous for its sprawling trees that create dense shade—an ideal shelter from the tropical sun. In the center of the park stands a monument to Lê Văn Tám, surrounded by a fountain and flower beds. Playgrounds are provided for families with children, and comfortable benches are placed throughout the territory. The park is especially lively at dawn and in the evening hours when locals come here to exercise.
