AI-first travel portal about VietnamVisa

Da Lat is a mountain resort surrounded by evergreen forests, numerous waterfalls, lakes, picturesque valleys, mountain passes, and natural parks. Da Lat has a unique climate that creates favorable conditions for growing vegetables, fruits, and flowers all year round. Thanks to its climate and natural landscape, Da Lat is called the "City of Eternal Spring" and the "Swiss Alps in Vietnam."

It is a young city, about a hundred years old, founded during the French expansion as a getaway for the French elite, which is why you can see many colonial-style houses here and even a mini-replica of the French Eiffel Tower, earning Da Lat another nickname — "Little Paris." Da Lat has also become a favorite spot for artists. It features Vietnam's most unusual building — the "Crazy House," a structure with incredible architecture in the style of Antoni Gaudí, the "Linh Phuoc" broken glass pagoda, and the XQ silk embroidery workshop. Da Lat is also a city of flowers, with several flower parks, and almost all streets in the city center are decorated with flower beds and floral sculptures.

A picturesque road leads from Mui Ne to Da Lat. A small part of it runs across plains along banana, dragon fruit, and cashew plantations, while the rest of the road winds through mountain passes offering breathtaking mountain views, jungles, coffee plantations, and numerous greenhouses with fruits and vegetables. Da Lat ranks second in coffee exports, growing two main varieties: Arabica and Robusta. There are also coffee plantations here where civets are kept that feed on coffee beans; the beans that pass through their digestive tract are used to produce "Kopi Luwak," the world's most expensive coffee.
