Transport Hub
Phu Ly (Phủ Lý) is the administrative center of Ha Nam province, located 60 km south of Hanoi on the banks of the Day River. The city was almost entirely rebuilt after the destruction of 1966 and today represents a modern center with wide avenues. Phu Ly is not a tourist destination in the traditional sense, but its location makes it a convenient base for exploring the province's numerous craft villages and Buddhist temples.
