A recent conference in Binh Thuan province announced that the famous Mui Ne resort area will become a national tourist center by 2030.

According to local authorities, the resort area will welcome 10,000,000 tourists a year by 2025. By 2030, Mui Ne will be able to meet the requirements of a national-level tourist center. The number of visitors is expected to exceed 16,000,000, and revenue should reach 2.5 billion dollars.

Regional authorities plan to focus on attracting European markets, as well as developing beach, sports, and cultural tourism. A former deputy head of the Tourism Development Research Institute stated that for the successful implementation of the project, it is important to create new tour programs and boost advertising while training people at every stage. At the same time, he added that it is crucial to comply with environmental standards.

The conference was attended by representatives of travel agencies and cultural experts from Binh Thuan and neighboring provinces. They called for increased investment in entertainment infrastructure and the improvement of traffic quality.

Nguyen Duc Hoa, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, asked the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to gather opinions from all conference participants, then develop a development plan based on those opinions and submit it to the People's Committee in the near future.
