Tri Nguyen Aquarium is one of the landmark attractions of Nha Trang Bay, located on Hon Mieu Island. This is a unique place where the history of its creation is closely intertwined with unusual architecture: the main pavilion building is shaped like a sunken pirate ship. Visitors can not only see exotic marine life, including relic fish, but also enjoy views of the South China Sea from the palace's "deck".

What you need to know
The aquarium was founded by fisherman Le Can in 1971. He created a unique system of natural stone dams that allowed seawater to circulate and sustain the life of the pond's inhabitants in natural conditions.
In 1998, the "Neptune Palace" was opened. Its structure is divided into three floors:
- Lower levels: immerse visitors in the underwater world atmosphere, allowing them to observe sharks, rays, and turtles through portholes. Exhibitions on shipwrecks and fossils are also presented here.
- Upper level: a deck offering breathtaking views of the bay and islands.
The complex also features cafes serving Vietnamese and European cuisine and the white-sand Bai San beach, allowing you to combine a cultural program with relaxation by the water.
