The Quang Trung Museum (Bảo tàng Quang Trung) is a large-scale historical complex located on the site of the former home of the three brother leaders of the famous Tay Son uprising. This place is a must-visit for anyone who wants to gain a deeper understanding of 18th-century Vietnamese history, view ancient artifacts, and experience the martial heritage of the country's national pride, Emperor Quang Trung.

What you need to know
The museum covers an area of 150,000 m² in Phu Phong town. Opened in 1979, it holds the status of a special national monument. The core collection features over 11,000 exhibits distributed across 9 halls: ranging from the background of the 1771 uprising to the reunification of the country and the ruler's legacy.
Main highlights:
- Tay Son Tam Kiet Temple: A sanctuary dedicated to the hero brothers.
- Relics: An 18th-century ancient well and a 200-year-old mango tree recognized as national heritage.
- Cultural heritage: The traditional house of the Ba Na people, elephant-hide battle drums, and ancient gongs.
- Demonstrations: Regular performances of Binh Dinh martial arts ("võ bình định") and drum performances playing traditional battle rhythms ("trống trận Quang Trung").
