About the Place

What you need to know

The building was designed by French architect Félix Olivier, and its structure is inspired by the Petit Palais in Paris. The interior preserves the atmosphere of the turn of the century: pastel walls, red velvet armchairs, and parquet floors. At various times, the building served not only as a theater but also as the meeting place for the National Assembly and the Parliament of South Vietnam.

Today, it regularly hosts the A O Show — a spectacular circus performance featuring acrobatics and folk dance, telling the story of Vietnam's transition from rural life to a modern city.
