What to know
Hon Thi Island is renowned for its untouched ecosystem. Its main highlight is the sika deer farm, where visitors can feed the animals and take memorable photos. African ostriches are also kept here. The island's flora features mango, grapefruit, and dragon fruit plantations, as well as wild orchids.
History enthusiasts will find ancient temples here: a sea god temple on the hillside, the sanctuary of the goddess Thien Y Na, as well as historical pagodas and towers preserving the spirit of the Tay Son era. The island's beaches are wild, featuring snow-white sand and excellent visibility for snorkeling.
