Dai Yem Waterfall is one of the brightest natural jewels of northwestern Vietnam. Located in Muong Sang commune, this cascading waterfall strikes with its beauty, especially during the rainy season when the streams form an impressive "white silk" effect. What you need to know
Dai Yem Waterfall is formed by the confluence of two streams — Bo Co Lam and Bo Ta Chu. Its structure is unique: it is a two-tier system with multiple cascades. The upper part consists of 9 and 5 tiers in different streams, separated by a viewing platform overlooking the mountains.
Infrastructure: The area is equipped with modern entertainment: it features Vietnam's first 100-meter-long 5D glass bridge suspended 22 meters above the water, as well as a zipline. For the convenience of tourists, an asphalted road and a 23-step staircase lead from the entrance down to the base.
Legend: Its name, which translates as "The Bib Waterfall" (or bodice/bra), comes from a legend of the Thai ethnic minority about a girl who saved a boy during a flood and left her bodice on the rocks in memory of the event.
The best period to visit, when monsoon rains provide the waterfall with maximum water volume, turning it into a powerful "white curtain."
