Ko Tien Pagoda is a national monument of Vietnam, located in the picturesque Sam Son area on Truong Le mountain. The temple is famous not only for its Buddhist architecture and legends of celestial fairies, but also for its historical significance: it was here that President Ho Chi Minh stayed during his visit.

What you need to know
The pagoda was founded during the Ly dynasty on the peak of Dau Voi hill ("Elephant's Head"). The temple complex is a three-tier structure organically integrated into the landscape. The complex includes the main temple dedicated to the goddess Lieu Hanh (Mother of the Upper Heaven), as well as shrines to the Mother of the Upper Thousand, the Mother of Consolation, and the Controller's Temple.
Visitors can see the preserved room where Ho Chi Minh rested and enjoy breathtaking views of Ngok Bay and the azure sea. Local legends say that on moonlit nights, you can hear echoes of stories about romantic encounters between humans and celestial fairies.
