What you need to know
With a total length of 700 meters, the cave offers two unique experiences: a 200-meter dry zone with natural lighting and a 500-meter water section that requires flashlights. Geologically, the cave features original stalactite and stalagmite systems that continue to grow actively. In the 10th century, the cave served as a strategic shelter for the defenders of the ancient capital of Hoa Lu. During your visit, pay attention to the stalactite resembling the figure of Buddha and the local bat population.
The dry season provides the most comfortable conditions for boat rides and exploring the cave on foot.
