History and exhibits
The museum was inaugurated on May 19, 1984, on the 94th anniversary of Ho Chi Minh's birth, on foundations laid back in 1982. Initially conceived as a branch of the central museum in Hanoi, it became an independent cultural center after the administrative division of the provinces.
The exhibition details the life of Ho Chi Minh, with a special focus on his strategic attention to the development of the Tây Nguyên region. Visitors can see unique evidence of the deep respect local ethnic groups hold for the founder of modern Vietnam and the population's commitment to his ideas.
The dry season is the most favorable time to visit. Keep in mind that due to the elevation of 800 meters, even in the dry season mornings (December–January) can be cool (15–18°C), but the museum halls are always comfortable thanks to the air conditioning system.
