Phượng Hoàng Cave is located on the mountain of the same name in Võ Nhai district and is a significant national monument. The place is impressive in scale: huge halls are decorated with bizarre geological formations, and a real underground river hides inside. Visiting the cave is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of wild nature and Vietnam's history.

What you need to know
The cave consists of three main levels:
Upper Chamber (Dơi):
known as the "bat cave".
Middle Chamber (Sáng):
the "bright cave", where sunbeams penetrate through openings in the ceiling.
Lower Chamber (Tối):
completely the "dark cave".
Inside, the cave is hardly illuminated, so having a powerful flashlight is a must. At a distance of 150 meters from the entrance, a water route with underground lakes begins. At the foot of the mountain, you will find the picturesque Mưa Gà stream with natural swimming pools and a waterfall.
Dry season with comfortable temperatures (15–20 °C) and the golden colors of the surrounding rice terraces.
