The Hau Giang Provincial People's Committee was a state management body. Currently, the site does not function as an administrative unit and is of no tourist interest, serving a purely historical role in the context of Vietnam's administrative division.

What you need to know
Hau Giang province was established in 2004 based on the territories of the former Can Tho province and existed for over 20 years. On June 12, 2025, as a result of a large-scale administrative reform, the province was merged with Can Tho city and several other units into a new centrally-governed city.
As of July 2026, the facility is not officially operational. There is no tourist value to the place, as the site was never intended for visitors and had exclusively economic significance for the agriculture and trade of the region.
