About

What you need to know

The pagoda has a deep history: in 1825, it was renamed Un Thon by decree of King Minh Mang, and in 1891, it received the name Linh Ung Chu. Despite damage during the war years, its original architectural features have been successfully preserved.

Main attractions:

  • Main Hall: houses statues of Shakyamuni Buddha, Maitreya Buddha, and Amitabha Buddha.
  • Xaloi Tower: a 28-meter, 7-story structure built in 1997. Inside is the largest collection of stone statues (200 Buddhas, bodhisattvas, and arhats).
  • Architectural details: carved altars, stone steles, and historic metal bells.
