Mango Garden Zoo in Phuoc Tan ward (Bien Hoa city) has been closed to visitors since May 12, 2025. As of July 2026, the complex is inaccessible to tourists and is undergoing the dismantling of its structures.

History and reasons for closure
Mango Garden spanned an area of over 50 hectares. The zoo itself covered 20 hectares and housed an impressive collection of 8,500 animals across 38 species, including exotic predators such as Bengal tigers, lions, bears, as well as giraffes, rhinos, and elephants. In addition to the zoo, the complex offered guests a swimming pool, tennis courts, horseback riding, and ostrich riding.
The closure resulted from a series of issues. In 2024, the complex faced a tragedy: due to an H5N1 avian flu outbreak transmitted through contaminated food, 20 Bengal tigers and a black leopard died. The situation was compounded by legal disputes: the Dong Nai provincial administration fined the investor for illegal land use, ordering them to return over 154 billion VND and restore the land. Currently, most of the animals have been relocated, and the site is undergoing a land reclamation process.
